The 9th annual Santa Fe Film Festival invites you to celebrate their opening night at Santa Fe's luxurious venues - Hotel Santa Fe, Chuck Jones Gallery, The Cowgirl BBQ - featuring beloved local DJs and musicians. Come out and party at Santa Fe Film Festival's Heineken Happy Hours, VIP Opening Night Reception and Official Opening Night Party.



The opening night Gala Presentation films are Steven Soderbergh's Che: The Argentine starring Benicio Del Toro and Christine Jeffs' Sunset Cleaning starring Amy Adams, Alan Arkin and Emily Blunt.

Synopsis of Che: The Argentine: Che Guevara and a band of Cuban exiles (led by Fidel Castro) reach the Cuban shore from Mexico in 1956. Within two years they mobilized popular support and an army and toppled the US-friendly regime of dictator Fulgencio Batista.

Che: The Argentine opens in theaters on January 9.

Synopsis of Sunset Cleaning: A woman who wants to send her eight year-old son to a private school decides to go into business with her unreliable sister in order to earn more money. They form a company doing biohazard removal and crime scene clean up.

Sunset Cleaning hits theaters on March 13.

The box office is open for tickets and passes.
