Hayden Panettiere Humps Seventeen
Heroes Hayden Panettiere graces the cover and pages of Seventeen April issue.
On what she looks for in a guy:
I have to be with someone who’s driven. When they’re not, it becomes difficult. In a lot of relationships, you get in and you spend every waking moment with that person. But I’ve figured out that the healthiest relationship is where you each have your own life, but they meet in a nice point in the middle.
On friends she depends on:
Hilary [Duff] is one of the closer people to me in the business. She’s a very down-to-earth person. She’s humble, very sweet -- she’s low-key.
On being loved:
I know myself much better now than I did. And my opinions of things and my morals –- I am not as easily swayed as I used to be. And when you learn to accept yourself, the more you learn to be okay with yourself and know yourself, the easier it is to love somebody and allow them to love you.

Director Darren Aronofsky's The Wrestler
Filmmaker Darren Aronofsky directs Evan Rachel Wood and Mickey Rourke on the set of The Wrestler. It's a film about Randy "The Ram" Robinson, a 1980s-era pro wrestler, has become a burnt-out shell of his former self. After he has a heart attack during a small-time match, a doctor tells him he could die if he fights again. In an effort to build a new life, Robinson takes a job at a deli, moves in with an aging stripper and tries to build a relationship with her son. But the prospect of a rematch with his old nemesis, the Ayatollah, proves too tempting to resist, even if it means risking his life.

Last night, we went to Shane Alexander record release party, The Sky Below, which is a must-have disc, and made a musical connection to Chris Pierce's uproar performance. Alexander's The Sky Below album is not to be missed and Chris Pierce's Walking On The Earth is a great companion disc as well.
Congratulations to all of the musicians and thanks to bass player Chad Crawford for the invite and fun night of great music.
