Miley Cyrus Humps Billboard

Disney Phenom Miley Cyrus won't stop talking about Vanity Fair backless pictures, and graces the cover of Billboard to promote her new album sans her alter-ego Hannah Montana.

On pictures in Vanity Fair: I was embarrassed... but also it's like, every career thing that I do can't be perfect, and sometimes my decisions are wrong. I think that just makes me even more relatable. I don't think people will look at me any differently because they're like, You know what, I'm going to do stupid stuff too, and I'm going to make mistakes, and that's fine. It still hurts when I think about it.

On upcoming album - Breakout: It's grown-up. I wrote all the songs except two. My last one, Meet Miley Cyrus, was more just meeting me, finding out who I am, and here it's more getting in depth of what's been going on in my life in the past year.

We'll have Miley's music video for 7 Things off Breakout tomorrow, stay tuned.

Synopsis: It’s the summer of 1994, and the streets of New York are pulsing with hip hop and wafting with the sweet aroma of marijuana. The newly-inaugurated mayor, Rudolph Giuliani, is only beginning to implement his anti-fun initiatives against “crimes” like noisy portable radio, graffiti and public drunkenness. Two people, however, are missing out on the excitement: Luke is a socially uncomfortable teenage pot dealer with no friends, issues with his parents, and a colossal lack of confidence with girls. He trades weed for sessions with his therapist, Dr. Squires, whose much-younger wife is slipping away from him. Squires, a drug-addled shrink with a hairline retreating to the back of his neck and a state of mind slouching back to adolescence, is an unlikely role model--but the two of them forge a friendship based on a mutual need: getting laid. The intergenerational duo set off on a crawl that takes them all over New York, where they encounter several of Luke's "business associates,” including a Phish-following dreadlocked pixie, a New Wave, keyboard-playing one-hit-wonder, and Luke’s supplier. Luke has long had an aching crush on Dr. Squires' way-out-of-his league stepdaughter, Stephanie, and is stunned at his good luck when she returns his affections. Luke’s innocent first love experience with Stephanie becomes a life lesson that sets him on the pathway towards adulthood. And when Squires breaks down, it is up to the younger man to throw the older one a lifeline.

George Carlin Died @ Age 71

Humorists George Dennis Carlin (71) died today after he was admitted to a hospital in Santa Monica from chest pains.

Gary C. Caskey / Reuters

Nobody was funnier than George Carlin. I spent half my childhood in my room listening to his records experiencing pure joy. And he was as kind as he was funny. - Judd Apatow

George did me a solid when he accepted the part of the orally fixated hitchhiker who knew exactly how to get a ride in "Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back." When he wrapped his scene in that flick, I thanked him for making the time, and he said, "Just do me a favor: Write me my dream role one day." When I inquired what that'd be, he offered, "I wanna play a priest who strangles children."

It was a classic Carlin thing to say: a little naughty and a lot honest. I always figured there'd be time to give George what he asked for. Unfortunately, he left too soon.

He was, and will likely remain, the smartest person I've ever met. But really, he was much more than just a person. Without a hint of hyperbole, I can say he was a god, a god who cussed. - Director Kevin Smith remembers George Carlin in Newsweek

Mr. Carlin was repped by Steve Levine and Brian Bunnin @ International Creative Management (ICM) for theatrical and personal appearance, respectively.

Gisele Bundchen Humps GQ

Model Gisele Bundchen graces the cover and pages of GQ July 2008 issue, and I must say she has tongues wagging. She's a hit or miss at times, and her mouthing off doesn't help, but she's hot in this spread.

Do you have a signature expression, like Zoolander's Blue Steel, that you use when you want to be extra-seductive: A photo is a story. Who will be this woman? Who will be wearing those sexy tops with boys' underwear? I try to understand. Who is she? What kind of mood is she in? Like, whatever, I'm in my bedroom. I'm like, my boyf—

It was reported that after your breakup with Leo DiCaprio, you were so despondent that you cut off all your hair, à la Britney. Is that true: Oh, my God. That's ridiculous.

Inez van Lamsweerde / Vinoodh Matadin

How about that you needed an escort of forty-four bodyguards and an armored van to get to a fashion show in São Paulo: No, that's crazy. But people are unbelievable. The other day a girl on my plane was pulling my hair. She was like, "I just want to check if—" This is all my hair, by the way. I did not have extensions, let me tell you.

That was going to be my next question. Let me just regroup here.… Forbes has reported that you made $35 million last year, more than twice as much as any other model in the world: Do you think that's important to me? Look, this is my job. I take pictures. There is no big deal. I would like to know who this reporter is finding out all of these amounts. And I would like him to talk to my accountant and figure out where is the cash that’s missing. Because I haven’t seen it.
