UNICEF & The Killers: Goodnight, Travel Well

David Slade directs a powerful, human trafficking a la music video tagged with Some Things Cost More Than You Realise and underscores it with The Killers - Goodnight, Travel Well - from their third studio album - Day & Age. The PSA music video is the second collaboration between UNICEF, MTV EXIT (End Exploitation & Trafficking) and the US Agency for International Development, the first launched in 2008 featuring Radiohead's All I Need.

We are deeply shocked and appalled that women and children are forced into such exploitative situations, said a spokesperson for The Killers. We hope that through MTV's efforts, and this powerful video, millions of people across the world learn about this tragic form of modern-day slavery. The video's creative concept was developed by the Australian advertising agency CRC, with support from the UK music consultancy Huge Music.

Chris Brown Apologizes To Rihanna

The abusive Chris Brown took to the web channel - Chris Brown TV - to formally apologize to Rihanna and his fans, for striking her and "accept full responsibility." Here's an official mea culpa: Since February, my attorney has advised me not to speak out even though ever since the incident, I wanted to publicly express my deepest regret and accept full responsibility.

I wish I had the chance to live those few moments again but unfortunately I can't. I cannot go into what happened and most importantly, I'm not going to sit here and make any excuses. I take great pride in being able to exercise self-control and what I did was inexcusable.

I have told Rihanna countless times and I’m telling you today that I'm truly, truly sorry and that I wasn't able to handle the situation both differently and better.

Brad Pitt Humps Wired

The Inglourious Basterds star Brad Pitt approach Wired's Scott Dadich to grace the cover and pages of the technology publication because he enjoyed the Mystery issue by director J.J. Abrams in May 2009, and sort after a non-traditional promotion outlet and stray away from the celebrity magazines.

Brad Pitt, Quentin Tarantino and Eli Roth are photographed by Dan Winters, inside the Wired issue. Inglourious Basterds arrives in theaters on Friday, August 21.

Brad Pitt had accurate view on technology, considering he fostered a computer lacking stand in his Newsweek Oscar roundtable interview last January. Here are blog perusings at your cubicle -

On Ashton Kutcher tweeting his wife Demi Moore's bottom: Don't take a picture of your wife's butt. That's silly. Take pictures of other people's wives' butts.

On online dating: Everyone lies online. In fact, readers expect you to lie. If you don't, they'll think you make less than you actually do. So the only way to tell the truth is to lie.

On talking on the phone at bathroom urinal: No, you can't talk on the phone!. Do you want the guy next to you to hear your entire conversation?

Pitt feels texting on the potty is acceptable, but: Just be sure you don't hit the wrong button and end up putting a photo of your junk on Twitter. Trust me, you don't want those followers.

Channing Tatum Humps GQ

G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra star Channing Tatum graces the cover and pages of GQ August 2009 issue, and discusses his love - Jenna Dewan - and uprising in Hollywood. In G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra, the elite G.I. Joe team uses the latest in next-generation spy and military equipment to fight the corrupt arms dealer Destro and the growing threat of the mysterious Cobra organization to prevent them from plunging the world into chaos. I've included some blog snippets below -

On how Tatum fell into Tinsletown: I got crazy lucky. Like, sometimes I think I won the lottery or something. At times it feels like the bottom's gonna fall out. Just 'cause I don't really know how I got here. But I just keep moving forward, and it just keeps getting better and better.

On his films: Step Up and Coach Carter: [They're called] tweeners - you know, those midlevel-budget movies that just kinda do good.

On summer blockbuster G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra: This is, like, my first step out into the whole commercial realm. I hope it does okay.

On red-state Alabama's electoral voting of John McCain and not President Barack Obama: I don't care. If they don't like me because I voted for Obama, then f*** them. I like horses and I like Obama. Nothin' wrong with hat.

Levi Johnston Discusses Sarah Palin @ Today

Levi Johnston held a press conference with Associated Press to discuss his take and point-of-view on why Sarah Palin is giving up her post as the governor of Alaska. Today's Ann Curry interviews Levi Johnston to get his rare-view glimpse into Sarah Palin's resignation. You can watch the 8 minutes clip and read excerpts below -

On Palin's decision to resign: [Sarah Palin] was talkin' about how [being governor] is a very stressful job. After the campaign and things, we had tons of offers, from everybody out there; just all kinds of ridiculous things. There had been talk about, 'It'd be nice to just take the money and run.'

On ex-Alaska Governor Palin's supposedly $7 million Harper's Collins book deal: I've heard anything from $7 million to $9 million. It's up there.

On Palin's transformation since loosing the vice-presidency election: [She wasn't] as outgoing. I didn't see the spark in her eyes about being governor… The fame got to her head. Just being up there and running for vice president, it's totally different than governor. There's cameras every day, she had secrets service… You name it. Seeing how she acted when it was all gone, I think it definitely got to her head.

Happy 4th of July: Celebrate Michael Jackson

Okay, the long July 4th weekend is here and eventhough we've lost several pop-icons and artists, lets celebrate Michael Jackson, Farrah Fawcett, Ed McMahon, Karl Malden 1912 - 2009, Harve Presnell 1933 - 2009 and Billy Mays' lives by blaring our favorite tunes by the King of Pop and Jackson 5. So with that, I leave you w/ Michael Jackson's Childhood off Free Willy: 2 soundtrack.

I miss you - MJ - and keep on moonwalking in heaven. Michael Jackson's attorney was L. Londell McMillan @ Dewey & LeBoeuf LLP.

Mr. Brainwash @ Carson Daly - Part 1 & 2

Today, I missed out on Mr. Brainwash MBW's Michael Jackson: King of Pop screen print [stenciled spray paint on textured archival art paper w/ reflective silver paint] 1:00pm sale because MBW changed the purchase time and moved the sale up by an hour @ 11:43am, so I'm bummed. Anyhoo, for now enjoy his April 2009's in-studio interview on Carson Daly's Last Call.

I usually don't watch NBC's late night talk shows, but now they've seem to have a strong hold on the Conan O'Brien slash Jimmy Fallon and of course Carson Daly gabbfest block with strong musical guest. So now I try to watch O'Brien, Fallon and Daly nightly.

Fallon, Daly and O'Brien - keep up the excellent work and great musicians coming. Carson Jones Daly is repped by James Dixon @ Dixon Talent, Inc.
