Mark Seliger Shoots Taylor Lautner

Pixer Mark Seliger shoots actor Taylor Lautner for the cover and pages of Rolling Stone music ragmag, increasing Team Jacob popularity numbers with Twi-Hards. Lautner pushes the New Moon promotion machine and opens up to columnist Neil Strauss that --- he's never smoked pot, never tried cigarettes and never snorted a line of cocaine.

On fans' reaction to Jacob's villain turn in New Moon: I have some pretty passionate team Jacob fans [laughs]

On being the third-wheel-obstacle in New Moon romance: I can see where you're coming from. The thing is, Jacob and Edward are two completely different guys. They are opposites. And it's just what kind of girl you are. If you like that more mysterious, dangerous type, then that's one guy. I personally love Jacob and Bella's relationship, and how they began as friends. They are so much more open, and can tell each other anything. And Bella and Edward's relationship, it's always tense. It's always serious. But Jacob and Bella's friendship starts growing stronger and stronger and you just wonder if they can go past friends. It looks like that at some

Ben Stiller @ Greenberg - Trailer

I've seen all of director Noah Baumbach films and even though on the surface, Baumbach's whitewash film characters appears unrelatable 'cause of their rich white-people problem. Nevertheless, I do end up enjoying his films. Anyhoo, Ben Stiller and underrated actress - Jennifer Jason Leigh - star in his latest effort - Greenberg - and the trailer is here for your consumption.

Ben Stiller's Greenberg is at a crossroads in his life. Out of a job and none too interested in finding one, he agrees to housesit for his younger and more successful brother, thereby getting a free place to stay in Los Angeles. Once settled in, Greenberg sets out to reconnect with his old friend and former bandmate Ivan --- [Rhys Ifans]. But times have changed, and old friends aren't necessarily still best friends, so Greenberg finds himself spending more and more time instead with his brother's personal assistant Florence - [Greta Gerwig] - an aspiring singer and herself something of a lost soul. As their relationship develops through a series of embarrassingly awkward romantic encounters, even someone as irascible as Greenberg might have at last found a reason to be happy.

Greenberg with psychostimulant-medication-in-tow rolls into New York & Los Angeles theaters on Friday, March 19 and goes wide-release in other cities on Friday, March 26.

The Oprah Winfrey Show Ends September 2011 - Video

I adore and respect Oprah Winfrey and very proud to have been part of her journey from local Chicago chat-show to national syndication program, and now she's blazing a new path by evolving once more. In its 25th year, The Oprah Winfrey Show will end on September 9, 2011 and she'll truly be missed. But don't count her out because Oprah Winfrey's divine contribution and journey will continue on OWN: Oprah Winfrey Network. Stay tuned for exciting celebration and new things to come from Oprah Winfrey & Co. Watch Oprah's emotional announcement below -

Oprah's Full Statement: The Real Reason She's Ending Her Show

After much prayer and months of careful thought, I have decided that next season, Season 25, will be the last season of The Oprah Winfrey Show.

Over the next couple of days, you may hear a lot of speculation in the press about why I am making this decision now...and that will mostly be conjecture.

So I wanted you to hear this directly from me.

Twenty-four years ago, on September 8, 1986, I went live from Chicago to launch the first national Oprah Winfrey Show. I was beyond excited...and as you all might expect, a little nervous. I knew then what a miraculous opportunity I had been given, but I certainly never could have imagined the "yellow brick road" of blessings that have led me to this moment with you.

These years with you, our viewers, have enriched my life beyond all measure. And you all have graciously invited me into your living rooms, into your kitchens and into your lives. And for some of you longtime Oprah viewers, you have literally "grown up" with me—we've grown together. You had your families, and you raised your children and you left a spot for me in your morning or your afternoon, depending on when The Oprah Show airs in your town.

So I just wanted to say that whether you've been here with me from the beginning or you came on board last week, I want you all to know that my relationship with you is one that I hold very dear. And your trust in me, the sharing of your precious time every day with me has brought me the greatest joy I have ever known.

So here we are, halfway through the season, 24, and it still means as much to me to spend an hour every day with you as it did back in 1986. So why walk away and make next season the last?

Here is the real reason: I love this show. This show has been my life. And I love it enough to know when it's time to say good-bye.

Twenty-five years feels right in my bones and it feels right in my spirit. It's the perfect number—the exact right time. So I hope that you will take this 18-month ride with me right through to the final show.

Over this holiday break, my team and I will be brainstorming new ways that we can entertain you and inform you and uplift you when we return here in January. And then Season 25—we are going to knock your socks off.

So, the countdown to the end of The Oprah Winfrey Show starts now and until that day in 2011 when it ends, I intend to soak up every meaningful, joy-filled moment with you.

TMNK: The Me Nobody Knows

Slavery has been abolished, right? Yet history will show that certain piped pipers have redefined and created a new generation of slaves, with their (OUR) destructively hypnotic hip hop rhetoric of violence. Brutal is the whip of poverty, and self inflicted violence, and death. "...Look what they've done to my song ma." --- TMNK: The Me Nobody Know

Computers for Youth [CFY] is dedicated to improving the home learning environment of low-income school children. We believe that the home holds the greatest untapped potential for improving children's academic and life-long success. CFY works directly with schools and our affiliates to improve the educational resources available in children's homes, improve parent-child interaction around learning at home and help teachers connect classroom learning with the home.

Mert Alas & Marcus Piggott

On Twitter: People are much more interested in what I have to say directly, and that really changed the whole dynamic I have with fans... I can't impress enough the difference in how people are perceiving me. They're getting to see who I am.

On ageism and her career: The frustrating part is that the type of roles I'd be interested in are not really coming to me. I hate to say it's a function of my age [47]—but yes, I think in some ways it is. The majority of [female] roles are geared between 25 and 35.

AFI Fest 2009 describes A Single Man as --- Unfolding on a single day in Los Angeles in 1962, at the height of the Cuban missile crisis, this story follows George Falconer, a 52-year old British college professor [Colin Firth] who struggles to find meaning after the death of his long time partner. Robert Pattinson Humps Vanity Fair

The Twilight Saga: New Moon star Robert Pattinson graces the cover and pages of Vanity Fair December 2009 issue, and here are excerpts from the promotional Q&A -

Bruce Weber

On Robert Pattinson's hotel room @ San Diego Hard Rock Hotel: is littered today with beer bottles, old scrambled eggs, a half-eaten Twix bar, and a dirty pair of jeans on the living-room floor.

Twilight's director Catherine Hardwicke describes Pattinson in the evening as: always drunk [playing his guitar in his hotel room, and says] What Rob and Kristen had is a multitude of feelings for each other. Complex feelings for each other. It was what we needed. Complex, intense fascination.

Pattinson says about Stewart: She's influenced how I’ve done all the Twilight stuff. It's quite nice to have someone who is genuinely indifferent to the whole spectacle of everything. It doesn't make any difference what you say [to the tabloids]. I've literally been across the country, and it's like 'Oh, they were on secret dates!' It's like 'Where? I can't get out of my hotel room!'

On co-star Kristen Stewart is even more emphatic: "It's so r*****," [she says]. We're characters in this comic book.

The Twilight Saga: New Moon hits theaters on Friday, November 20. Robert Pattinson is repped by Stephanie Ritz @ William Morris Endeavor and Kristen Stewart is repped by Ken Kaplan @ The Gersh Agency.

An Evening With Kenny Ortega @ AFI Fest 2009

The Entertainment Weekly publication presents An Evening With Kenny Ortega [This Is It - Michael Jackson doc-film director] on Monday, November 2 at 7:00pm to 8:30pm at Entertainment Weekly Lounge in the Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel.

Reserve Result (RR)

AFI Fest describes the event as --- Kenny Ortega taught modern Hollywood how to dance. The director of the Michael Jackson documentary - This is It - Ortega began his career as a choreographer and is responsible for some of the most iconic, indelible dance performances captured on film in the last 30 years. From the roller-disco fantasia of Xandau, to Jon Cryer's "Try A Little Tenderness" number in Pretty in Pink, to Matthew Broderick's "Twist and Shout" sequence in Ferris Bueller's Day Off, Ortega showed Gen X how to be cool. Then, with Dirty Dancing, he showed the entire world how to be hot. Ortega made his film directing debut with the ahead-of-its-time Newsies and went on to introduce the musical genre to a new generation, directing all three High School Musical movies. Next up: a reimagining of Footloose, starring Chace Crawford. Entertainment Weekly is honored to invite you to join Los Angeles Bureau Chief Sean Smith in celebrating the work of Kenny Ortega, one of Hollywood's true visionaries, at the AFI FEST 2009 presented by Audi.
