Shia LaBeouf Humps Details

Indy 4 star Shia LaBeouf delves into his personal life with Details magazine for his September 2008 cover issue, which hits newsstand on Monday, August 5. Here's an excerpt from the foreshadowing interview:

On ending one of his and his father's bonding rituals: We would drink together and smoke together, and it's just a bad deal. It's not something that is conducive to being a role model—no iconic actors that I know of have problems like that. And I don't know how to do it like a gentleman. I don't know how to have one drink.

Steven Klein

Check Details.com tomorrow for its extended version of Emmy winner LaBeouf interview.

LaBeouf is repped by Patrick Whitesell and Megan Silverman @ Endeavor, and his new film - Eagle Eye directed by D.J. Caruso - hits theaters on September 26.

Synopsis of Eagle Eye: Two strangers become the pawns of a mysterious woman they have never met, but who seems to know their every move. Realizing they are being used to further her diabolical plot, they must work together to outwit the woman before she has them killed.

Caruso is repped by Rick Nicita, Scott Greenberg and Joseph Cohen @ Creative Artists Agency (CAA).

Transformers 2: Revenge of the Fallen - Script

We've seen excerpts of Ehren Kruger, Alex Kurtzman and Roberto Orci's Transformer 2 script, and we'll read the complete script soon. Let me tell you, Transformers was alot of fun, but the sequel will kill. So freaking excited.

We cannot release any script pages or content from DreamWorks/Paramount Pictures' Transformers 2: Revenge of the Fallen. However, we can assure Transformers fans and cineophiles that Michael Bay's Transformers 2: Revenge of the Fallen will deliver and blow your mind, when it hits theaters on 06.26.2009.

Btw, the Shoot Day: 3 of 84 call sheet floating on the net is suspect. TF2: ROTF's Director of Photography is Mitchell Amundsen and Unit Production Manager is Ian Bryce, but they differ on the renegade call sheet.

Shia LaBeouf Humps GQ

Shia LaBeouf is really coming along as a credible actor, I finally saw Transformers and Disturbia on cable and he's actually witty and good in them. Anyways, Shia LaBeouf whores himself out for GQ to sell Indiana Jones out May 22.

On the projects that he chooses: The [Ryan] Goslings of the world are incredible to watch, he says. But they make character pieces. It’s not that I'm not interested in making those, it's just that I really enjoy watching movies like the ones I'm making, where there's a lot happening—big-ensemble, orchestral types of movies and not just a solo act.

On his parents: They don't work. I take care of them, and they get to create art for the rest of their days.
