Beijing Olympics Games Should Be Dubbed Genocide Olympics
Steven Spielberg has finally pulled out of Beijing Olympic Games as an artistic adviser for the creative team led by Chinese director Zhang Yimou, due to China's lack of progress in resolving the humanitarian crisis in Darfur. It's about time, what took him so long.
"I find that my conscience will not allow me to continue with business as usual," Spielberg said in a statement released on Today. "At this point, my time and energy must be spent not on Olympic Ceremonies but doing all I can to help bring an end to the unspeakable crimes against humanity that continue to be committed in Darfur."
China is the biggest customer for Sudan's oil and they supply Sudan with guns and funds for guns. We won't allow this genocide to continue and definitely not on our watch.
"Sudan's government bears the bulk of the responsibility for these ongoing crimes, but the international community, and particularly China, should be doing more to end the continuing suffering there," Spielberg said in his statement. "China's economic, military and diplomatic ties to the government of Sudan continue to provide it with the opportunity and obligation to press for change."
Don't support Beijing Genocide Olympics Games until Chinese President Hu Jintao takes action against Sudan's leaders and United Nation Security Council are granted unrestricted access into Darfur to stop the genocide.
